COLUMBUS, Ga.-- It was another successful day for AU swimming on day two of the NAIA National Championships in Columbus, Ga.

The day was highlighted by the men's 400 Medley Relay team of Clay Bisher, Ronan Passman, Alex Wu, and Keith Jessee who broke the 400 Medley school record by four seconds finishing with a time of 3:25.03

Hope Clark and Keith Jessee also obtained NAIA All-American honors with their finishes in the 500 free and 200 IM.

Head Coach Alex Keyser was pleased with both teams and their efforts in the pool on Thursday.

"We swam very well overall today. Kristin Sauer went a lifetime best in her 500 Freestyle this morning and Hope moved up from her 8^th Place seeding in Finals to finish 7^th. She was only .03 off her school record and earned NAIA All-American Honors.

Keith swam very well in his 200 IM and moved up to 6^th Place to earn NAIA All-American honors. Alex's 200 IM in finals was a very good swim for him and it is very exciting to know he has more in the tank for his butterfly individual events. Our men's 400 Medley Relay broke the AU school record in prelims by 4 seconds and it was a well put together relay with everyone swimming on point.

Both of our women's relays were faster tonight in Finals, which is very exciting. It was very encouraging to see what we were able to accomplish today. Tomorrow is a big day with more individual swims. I expect us to have more individual swims in Finals tomorrow night."
